Hope" Chicago Hope ran for 6 years, a milestone few series achieve. I scored the first four years, creating music that was modern, but emotional and melodic. I treated each episode like a mini movie, developing new themes to use throughout the hour. The show averaged about 12 minutes of score per episode, for which I had about four days to compose and demo. There's more about the schedule and medthods in the book.
